Kirby the Dog needs a home
Kirby is about 4 years old as of January, 2018 and what a sweet guy. This boy is completely blind but it doesn't slow him down at all. He gets along great with other dogs and walks well on a leash. He is crate and house trained. Dogs depend less on their sight than they do their nose and ears. You would never be able to tell he was blind the way he runs around and plays with the other dogs here at the rescue. He is playful with other dogs and people as you can tell from the videos. He will need a fenced yard so that he can meet his exercise requirements without wandering off. He adjusts quickly and well to new surroundings. He did test positive for heartworms and we currently have him on the less harsh, slow kill method for heartworms. Kirby will be current on all medical (shots, neuter, heartworm and flea prevention).
